Started my morning with my first blood test. This was uneventful but the 'phlebo' (as she referred to herself!) has just gone through chemo for breast cancer. I attended a Wholefoods seminar by chef Jude Blereau this afternoon. I love the idea of eating what is in season, eating local, eating organic, eating food as close to the source as possible (as unprocessed as possible), and I love the idea of slow food, though I still don't quite understand how nor...

It might be a call, an email, remembering a birthday, sending a card, or catching up for a cuppa. It is so...

Powered around the lake four times this morning. Felt great. I think the fourth lap might have tipped Lucca over the edge though. Quiet day at home then went to work for a few hours this afternoon. So great being there, seeing my gorgeous Blockettes and catching up on some paperwork. I think it's a...

We were all so happy to have Mark home on Friday night (well Saturday morning actually). The kids were so excited in the morning and wouldn't stop talking. Mark didn't really have a chance to get over jet lag - had to keep moving with ballet, birthday parties and giving the kids lots of attention. ...
