  A very warm welcome to all our new members!

  My name is Ness and I have been working with the Purple Boot Brigade and Breast Cancer Care WA since the early days of the beginnings of the Steel Blue purple boots! What a wonderful journey this has been and it is such a privelege to be able to work on this project and meet people from across Oz (and the globe?) as we work together to support people affected by breast cancer.

  My role is to help bring together technology, breast cancer health professionals and the community to work with the expert ECU research team to develop an online breast cancer support community and develop guidelines for how the health profession can use all this latest technology to support people with health challenges.

  i am coming up to my 12 month check following a bilateral mastectomy and am feeling pretty confident.
  my husband is planning lots of holidays so we are at the " playing and enjoying life" stage.

  Hello Everyone and Welcome to the CLICK.

  I am the CLICK researcher working to complete my PhD with Edith Cowan University.

  Breast cancer has affected my family and friends both in the past and present therefore it is a privilege and a pleasure to be interacting with you online and offline during the research activities such as focus groups, surveys and interviews.  The information about my research can be found under news and announcements in the FORUM so CLICK on it to check out the details.

  The check up was fine thanks- all clear so far.
  We leave for Thailand next week so we are in full holiday mode.

  OK I will keep that place in mind. i haven't ever been to Thailand before so post some photos when you get back or whilst you are there!!! (not) I am sure everyone would love to see them and daydream.

  I spent the 12 month anniversary of my diagnosis in Bali with my family and it was the best holiday ever!!Enjoy!!

  Married 30 YO mother of 4 girls. Grade 3B. Double Mastectomy, right clearance with 7/25 nodes +. Est & Prog Neg, Her2+. Treatment:6mths chemo, 6wks radio and 12mths Herceptin. Tired:(

  Glad to hear you had a great holiday in Bali. My daughter and family are off on Sunday for a couple of weeks. First holiday as a family since the 2 yo was born so she needs a break (sleep that is) Did you take advantage of the massages? I think one a day minimum is the go ... fitted around dips in the pool, eating, minimum shopping and reading a chick lit no brainer. What did you do and where do you recommend?

  Having problems viewing the online Chat or other functions on Click? Perhaps it is your web browser... we have seen some issues with people using different versions of Internet Explorer... so why not try downloading the FREE browser software offered by Google Chrome here...
