After a cancer diagnosis, you will notice many comments are made about various things that may link to cancer - either that may cause it or help cure it ..
Most people do mean well when trying to let you know about things they've heard .. or you may read it somewhere .. hear it on the radio or tv .. so much is said and written about links to cancer.
To help learn the truth, research of a high level needs to be done to provide answers that are reliable and 'true', and help dispel the many myths that can frighten people unnecessarily, and possibly even be harmful if tried.
An interesting site called 'iheard' is available through the Cancer Council to help address all those 'tricky' things you hear may be linked to cancer. You can see responses to many queries here, or post your own 'iheard' query and get the facts ... see http://iheard.com.au
Would love to hear any comments from members about this ..
cheers, Glenys xxx
