  I'm pleased to meet you all.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer last Tuesday. I'm booked in for a right mastectomy next Thursday.  Whoosh!! I'm not sure what has just happened.  I've just typed my first blog entry. Come and say hello! :)

  40yo wife and mother to 9 yo daughter. Diagnosed October 2012. L mastectomy & SNB clear. R mastectomy 75cm high grade DCIS. R axillary clearance Grade 3 ductal carcinoma in 8 out of 12 lymph nodes. FEC Chemo starting 11 Jan 2013.

  Hi Katy - thanks for joining us as this is a great place to chat with others and get the support of our wonderful Breast Care Nurse, Glenys. She is on leave for a few weeks however we are all here to support you and help you through this time.
