Hi there! Im Angela, here in AUS everyone calls me Ange, and I am fine with that, as it's easy to jot down as ang :) been living here in the past four years, married to a wonderful man Ken, and taking care of his daughter Anita, in last two years as well. Been diagnosed with cancer in 2010 Dec, had lumptectomy, no therapies done. Second time this February... Everything happened very quickly: two surgeries, a single mastectomy and a lymphnode clearance, then started chemo on first of May... since still find myself asking: is this happening to ME?? kept working fulltime, and inbetween two surgeries shifted houses... Chemo is over now, on the 18th starting radiation. Got great support from my darling husband and daughter, family, friends and church family. Never forget those meals what they cooked, or the many helps with appointments and taking me to hospital... Otherwise my own family is in Serbia, I am on my own here. Skype is an escape and short term relief for all of us, though it is hard to cope with the fact that my mom became half of her size... anyway, still keep believing in my God and miracles... and taking on with a new mission to learn how to handle mood swings, hot flushes and night sweats as an early menopause rocks my world, and the world of my hubby... Good news: spring is here :) love and xxx ang
