  Ideas for DEALING WITH THOSE ‘DOWN’ DAYS …

   

  1. 1.   Listen to your favourite music/artist (jojo recommends John Farnham!! .. )
  2.  
  3. 2.   Enjoy companionship of pets (and cuddles .. if they will!)
  4.  
  5. 3.   Share a cuppa and laughs with friends (.. usually they will cuddle too!!)
  6.  
  7. 4.   Indulge in your favourite hobby .. baking, craftwork, sewing, painting .. or start a new one!
  8.  
  9. 5.   Watch a funny movie .. or a really sad one and cry your heart out!
  10.  
  11. 6.   Go outside and enjoy nature .. sit in the sun, walk in the rain, walk on the beach ..
  12.  
  13. 7.   GO SHOPPING .. (can be dangerous though .. watch that credit card or it may bite you!!)
  14.  
  15. 8.   Spend time with grandchildren ( .. if they’ve come along yet!)
  16.  
  17. 9.   Have a cup of tea .. cures everything!
  18.  
  19. 10.   TALK to someone! Ring, get ‘on-line’ .. just talk to someone .. family, friends, support sites, Cancer Council, Lifeline ..

  21. 11.   Write a ‘BLOG’ on this site .. get it out by writing it down!

  23. 12.   Send a message to a fellow ‘Clicker’ here (or ‘pop-up message’ if they’re online)
  24.  
  25. 13.   Go have a massage, manicure, pedicure … SPOIL YOURSELF!!! (in Perth, WA book yourself a session at ‘SOLARIS’ - see under ‘Resources’ on the site).
  27. 14.   Enjoy your favourite food, a glass of ‘medicinal’ wine, and (from Glenys) some TWISTIES - YUM!!

  Thanks Glenys I read this yesterday after a bout of self pity had me in tears. It really helped, the timing was perfect. My cats all wondered what was going on as I fussed about them so much, even gave the stray from across the road a big cuddle (although he's a bit smelly!)...thanks again Louise xxx
