  Hint 1.... Breathe!! Seriously, keep breathing deeply.
  
  Hint 2... Don't keep it locked inside. Talk to friends about it.
  
  Hint 3 - The Early Breast Cancer kit is brilliant! (NBCF site – order online at...)
  
  Hint 4 – Use your breast care nurse!
  
  Hint 5 - take the same support person if possible to the appointments and make sure they got a good memory!
  
  Hint 6 – use a journal and still do to fill in appointments / daily notes
  
  Hint 7 - have a great sense of humour!
  
  Hint 8 - Don't look at Dr Google, you'll scare yourself even more
  
  Hint 9 - think positive thought
  
  Hint 10 – tell people about the diagnosis when you are ready

  47 year old mother of 2 girls - 12 and 15. DX May 2011, 3cm HER2+ grade 3 tumour. Hormone receptor positive. Lumpectomy, nodes clear and clear margins. AC chemo x 4, Taxol/herceptin x12 weeks, 7 weeks radiotherapy. Herceptin until October 2012.
